Born in Bordeaux, enriched by many years of experience around the world, Gayané Vintage was born from the passion of its founder, Joséphine Hatchiguian, for fashion and textile creation, and her deep commitment to ethical and sustainable consumption. At Gayané Vintage, we combine the timeless elegance of vintage with a strong ecological conscience. After several years spent observing from afar the impact of fashion on the environment, Joséphine decided to create, in June 2023, a space where style and sustainability meet. The name Gayané Vintage refers to its Armenian origins.

It is our job to verify the authenticity of the item for you in advance. So that the customer can buy authentic vintage with confidence, we always check the origin of the product, in particular through the quality of the fabric, the brand name and/or the manufacturing label, which allows us to date the decade of manufacture. Gayané's experience in this area is an asset. In case of doubt about vintage authenticity, the item will never be put up for sale on the site.

The products are already refurbished before shipping; washed, and repaired if necessary. We only sell vintage pieces in good or very good condition. However, you must be aware and understand that a vintage item will almost never be new.

Vintage at Gayané refers to all pieces made before the 2000s, before the era of intensive production of low-cost clothing that we fight against every day.

The sale prices take into account: the remuneration of the staff, the initial purchase price of the part, the time spent searching for it, its rarity, its material and quality, its place of manufacture and also the necessary reconditioning, upcycling or repair of the part. The resale price also takes into account website management and hosting, time spent showcasing the pieces and social media marketing.

Delivery times are those of the Mondial Relay and La Poste Colissimo carriers, depending on the shipping method chosen. Your package will be delivered to the carrier (unless otherwise previously indicated) within a maximum of 3 working days following validation of the order. Delivery to France, Belgium, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Spain and Portugal is ensured, depending on the customer's choice, by Mondial Relay or La Poste Colissimo. Delivery to Italy, Germany, Poland, Czech Republic, Romania, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Cyprus, Croatia, Slovenia, Greece, Switzerland, Austria, Hungary , Ireland, Overseas, United Kingdom, Canada, United States, Australia, New Zealand, China, Japan, South Korea, Singapore and Hong Kong is provided by Colissimo Post. If your country is not in the list, you can contact us so that we can possibly open the market and delivery to your country.

Any return will be accepted within 14 days after receipt of the item (which must not have been worn or washed). The Gayané Vintage label must not be removed from the item, otherwise we will not be able to accept the return. It is necessary to report the return to customer service as soon as possible after receipt of the item, because here each piece is unique. To make a return it is necessary to first contact customer service contact@gayanevintage.com. Return costs are the responsibility of the buyer, except in the case of obvious error on our part.

Vintage sizes are rarely the same as those we know today. At Gayané we make a size suggestion on each garment by referring to current sizes, without being able to derive an accuracy. The best will always be to refer to the measurements. Do not rely on the rendering on the mannequin. In case of doubt, or for more information you can contact us before purchase. We know it's hard to buy vintage without trying on, so we're here 7 days a week to give you additional measurements, worn photos, or to answer any other questions. Gayané Vintage does not have a physical store, and sells mainly online. However, the brand occasionally participates in physical events, such as professional vintage markets, particularly in Bordeaux metropolis.
